How many connection requests, messages and profile views can you send on LinkedIn? Here's what we know, what Prosyo enforces, and how to stay safe.

Note

LinkedIn doesn't publish exact numbers, and its limits change and vary by account. The ranges below reflect commonly reported limits and Prosyo's own guidance. Always start conservatively.

Connection requests#

Guidance
Weekly limit (LinkedIn)Commonly reported at roughly 100–200 invitations a week, depending on account age, activity and acceptance history
Safe daily pace15–20 a day on an established account, 10 a day on a new or quiet one
Prosyo presetsCautious 10 · Recommended 20 · High volume 25 a day (maximum setting 50)
Note length300 characters max. Free accounts may have a monthly cap on personalized notes.

What hurts your invitation limit:

  • Many pending invites. Withdraw old ones with Cancel an invitation if not accepted.
  • Low acceptance rate from poor targeting.
  • People clicking "I don't know this person".

Messages#

Guidance
Messages to 1st-degree connectionsNo published cap, but keep them human-paced. Prosyo counts them in LinkedIn actions / day.
InMailLimited by your Premium or Sales Navigator plan. Prosyo sequences don't send InMail.

Profile views, likes and comments#

These count toward LinkedIn actions / day in Prosyo (Cautious 20 · Recommended 40 · High volume 60, maximum setting 150). Free accounts have a monthly commercial-use search limit. Sales Navigator removes most search limits.

Warm-up plan for a new or quiet account#

WeekInvites / dayLinkedIn actions / day
15–1015–20
210–1525–30
315–2035–40
4+Up to 20–25, if acceptance is 30%+40–60

Keep using LinkedIn normally too: post, comment and accept invites. Accounts that only send automation look unusual.

If LinkedIn restricts your account#

  1. Pause your campaigns.
  2. Complete LinkedIn's verification steps in your browser.
  3. Wait a few days before resuming, and resume on Cautious.
  4. Reconnect the account in Settings → Accounts.
  5. Review targeting. Low acceptance is usually the root cause.

Scale safely#

Want more volume? Add senders, not speed. An extra LinkedIn/email seat or an Agency / Team seat doubles capacity while each account stays well within safe limits.
