How many connection requests, messages and profile views can you send on LinkedIn? Here's what we know, what Prosyo enforces, and how to stay safe.
LinkedIn doesn't publish exact numbers, and its limits change and vary by account. The ranges below reflect commonly reported limits and Prosyo's own guidance. Always start conservatively.
Connection requests#
| Guidance | |
|---|---|
| Weekly limit (LinkedIn) | Commonly reported at roughly 100–200 invitations a week, depending on account age, activity and acceptance history |
| Safe daily pace | 15–20 a day on an established account, 10 a day on a new or quiet one |
| Prosyo presets | Cautious 10 · Recommended 20 · High volume 25 a day (maximum setting 50) |
| Note length | 300 characters max. Free accounts may have a monthly cap on personalized notes. |
What hurts your invitation limit:
- Many pending invites. Withdraw old ones with Cancel an invitation if not accepted.
- Low acceptance rate from poor targeting.
- People clicking "I don't know this person".
Messages#
| Guidance | |
|---|---|
| Messages to 1st-degree connections | No published cap, but keep them human-paced. Prosyo counts them in LinkedIn actions / day. |
| InMail | Limited by your Premium or Sales Navigator plan. Prosyo sequences don't send InMail. |
Profile views, likes and comments#
These count toward LinkedIn actions / day in Prosyo (Cautious 20 · Recommended 40 · High volume 60, maximum setting 150). Free accounts have a monthly commercial-use search limit. Sales Navigator removes most search limits.
How Prosyo keeps you safe#
| Protection | What it does |
|---|---|
| Daily limits | Caps invites, LinkedIn actions and emails per day, per campaign |
| Delay between actions | A random 5–60 minute gap per account. No bursts. |
| Working hours | Sends only during the hours and days you choose |
| Auto-withdraw invites | Cancels invites not accepted after 1–30 days |
| Stop on reply | No follow-ups after someone answers |
| Pause on disconnect | Stops sending if LinkedIn ends your session |
| Spread after pauses | Overdue steps are rescheduled, not dumped at once |
See Sending limits and safety.
Warm-up plan for a new or quiet account#
| Week | Invites / day | LinkedIn actions / day |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5–10 | 15–20 |
| 2 | 10–15 | 25–30 |
| 3 | 15–20 | 35–40 |
| 4+ | Up to 20–25, if acceptance is 30%+ | 40–60 |
Keep using LinkedIn normally too: post, comment and accept invites. Accounts that only send automation look unusual.
If LinkedIn restricts your account#
- Pause your campaigns.
- Complete LinkedIn's verification steps in your browser.
- Wait a few days before resuming, and resume on Cautious.
- Reconnect the account in Settings → Accounts.
- Review targeting. Low acceptance is usually the root cause.
Scale safely#
Want more volume? Add senders, not speed. An extra LinkedIn/email seat or an Agency / Team seat doubles capacity while each account stays well within safe limits.
