Playbook: Turn Intent into conversations

Turn buying signals into conversations: check your ideal customer, switch on signals, run an Intent-led campaign, review each morning, then use Autopilot.

On this page

Let Intent find the people who are ready to talk, research them, and add them to a campaign with a message built from what they actually did. You approve each person until you trust the routine, then let it run on Autopilot.

1. Check your ideal customer#

Open Settings → Workspace → Ideal customer and check the rules Prosyo filled in from your ICP. If there are none yet, describe who you sell to and choose Fill in the rules for me. Check the roles, industries, company sizes and locations, then save.

Prosyo uses these rules to score every person's fit and to decide who gets your plan's included Intent people each day. See Define your ICP.

2. Switch on your signals#

In Intent, check that LinkedIn signals are on and install the code from Website. LinkedIn accounts connected by an owner or admin are watched automatically; teammates switch on their own account in LinkedIn signals.

A website is optional. The LinkedIn searches from What you sell, your posts, connection requests and job changes are enough to start. See Intent for setup.

3. Create an Intent-led campaign#

Choose Campaigns → New campaign → Intent-led. Pick the signals that matter (for example people asking for what you sell, messages sent to you first, form fills) and the ready-made messages. Or open Intent → Automations → Playbooks and start one from a template. Review the messages.

Every step already uses the research lines with fallbacks, so each message is personal and never shows an empty gap. If research isn't ready when a step is due, the step sends its fallback text. To wait for the research instead, or to let messages quote what someone asked for in a public post, switch on Wait for research before sending or Mention their public post under the campaign's Sending & safety → Intent and research. Both start off. See Intent-led campaigns.

4. Review each morning#

  1. Open Intent → Today: read what each person wrote, edit the drafted first message if you like, and choose Send. Mark anyone who isn't a buyer Not relevant so the searches improve.
  2. Open Intent → Automations → Review (or the morning email) for people your playbooks found.
  3. Approve the people you want (the button shows the credits it uses). When the research is ready, click Review message, read it and click Send to campaign.

Read Why now before you approve: each signal with its source and date. Someone asking for what you sell, or messaging you first, is a clearer reason to reach out than a single post reaction (reactions never make anyone Warm on their own). A company found from a website visit isn't the person who visited, so use Find buyers to pick someone in your buyer roles there and research them first.

Form fills and sign-ups typed on your website always wait for you to check them, even on Autopilot, because anyone can type any email into a form.

5. Learn what works, then switch on Autopilot#

After a few weeks, check Results to see which signals and playbooks bring meetings. Switch the best ones to Autopilot (owners and admins can do this). Each playbook keeps its daily research limit and monthly credit budget, and pauses itself when either runs out.

People who asked not to be contacted, customers, people already in a campaign and people you're talking to are always skipped.

Make it a daily habit#

  1. Answer open questions in Inbox.
  2. Open Intent → Today, then Automations → Review.
  3. Approve the people where the signal and fit give you a real reason to write.
  4. Update stages after real conversations.
