On this page
With Penny SDR or Penny SDR All-in, and if your workspace has it, Penny has her own computer for web work a chat can't do: a browser, a quick terminal for running commands and, if your workspace has it, a full desktop. You can watch what she does, take over at any time, and nothing that acts on a website happens until you approve it.
What Penny uses it for#
- The browser: searching the web, reading sites that need a real browser or several clicks, reading a table, saving a page as a PDF or a screenshot, and downloading a file.
- The quick terminal: data work such as merging two lists, cleaning a CSV or running a short script. The commands collapse into one row, Commands Penny ran. Choose Show the code to see the code and its output.
- The desktop (if your workspace has it): desktop apps next to her browser, when a job needs them or you want to watch her work.
Each person has their own computer in each workspace. The sites it is signed in to stay signed in between sessions, and its files are kept until you erase it.
Penny never uses her computer to open Prosyo itself; she works in Prosyo through her own actions. LinkedIn isn't opened in Penny's computer either. LinkedIn work goes through your connected LinkedIn account.
Watch or take over#
- When an answer used the computer, a small Penny's screen card appears under the latest one. Click Watch or take over. When the computer is off, the card says Off.
- The Penny's computer window opens full size, with a large screen. It says “Nothing open yet” until Penny opens something. On a phone it opens as a sheet from the bottom of the screen.
- Click Take control to use it yourself. On a computer, click the screen and type; your keys go to Penny's computer while you have control. On a phone, taps are clicks, and a box appears for typing.
- Penny waits while you have control. Click Let Penny continue to hand it back.
What you type goes straight to the computer. Penny doesn't see it. If you stop using the computer for a while, control goes back to Penny.
The window has one toolbar: Take control, Full screen, Add a file and a … menu. While you have control, Paste into the computer moves text in, and on the desktop Copy from the computer copies text out. On a large screen they're in the toolbar; on a phone, in the … menu.
Viewers can watch but can't take control. They see “You can watch. Ask a member to take over.”
When a site asks you to sign in#
If a site asks you to sign in or to prove you're a person, Penny stops and shows Finish this in Penny's computer with Open computer.
- Click Open computer.
- Click Take control, then sign in or finish the check yourself.
- Click Let Penny continue, and tell Penny to carry on.
Penny never types passwords, one-time codes or payment details.
Approve website actions#
Reading, searching, scrolling, screenshots and saving a page as a PDF run straight away. An agent set to Review each step asks before these too. Anything that could change something on a website, such as clicking a button, typing into a form, submitting or downloading, shows a card marked Acts on a website. Nothing happens until you approve it. While the computer may be signed in to a site, opening a different site needs your approval too.
A card acts only on the page as it was when Penny asked. If the page has changed, nothing is done and Penny looks again.
The exception is a saved scheduled task or agent whose owner allowed Act on websites in Penny's computer (click, type, download). It runs that action without asking each time, within its instructions. Agents work in their owner's computer, and only the person who set up the agent can approve steps there.
Files#
Files Penny's computer makes, such as a page saved as a PDF, a download or a command's output, are copied to your files. They appear in the chat under Files from Penny's computer, each with Download.
- Pictures show as previews that open full size. Tables and text files show their first rows.
- Only you can download these.
- One file can be up to 50 MB. Up to five files are copied per step; the rest stay in the computer.
- Copied files count toward your workspace storage. When storage is full, the file stays in the computer and Penny tells you.
To give the computer a file, click Add a file or drop the file on the screen. To see what's in the computer, open the … menu and choose Files in the computer. Use Save to Prosyo on a file to copy it to your files; the computer must be on for this.
If you see Video in your menu, Video → Storage shows how much space Penny's computer uses.
Sign out everywhere and Erase computer#
Both are in the … menu of the Penny's computer window.
- Sign out everywhere signs the computer out of every site. Your files stay. You sign in again in the live view when a site needs it.
- Erase computer deletes its saved home folder, your sign-ins and the files copied to your files. It can't be undone, and nobody else's computer changes. The next time Penny needs it, it starts fresh.
If you're removed from a workspace, or an agency removes your access to one of its client workspaces, your computer there is erased.
Minutes and credits#
| Plan | Computer minutes included each month |
|---|---|
| Penny SDR | 200 |
| Penny SDR All-in | 600 |
| Penny Agents | Not included |
- Each minute beyond the included minutes uses 2 credits.
- Minutes count per calendar month. An agency and its client workspaces share one allowance.
- When this month's minutes are used up and there aren't enough credits for more, Penny's computer doesn't start. Owners and admins can buy credits in Settings → Billing → Credits.
See AI credits for how credits work.
