Intent-led campaigns

Create a Prosyo campaign that fills itself with people who show the buying signals you choose and fit your ideal customer, each researched before the first message.

On this page

An Intent-led campaign fills itself. Instead of enrolling a list, you choose who it reaches: people who show the buying signals you pick and fit your ideal customer. Each new person is researched before the first message, so every step is written from what they actually did.

Before you start, check Settings → Workspace → What you sell and your ideal customer in Settings → Workspace → Ideal customer, and switch on your signals in Intent (see Intent).

Create an Intent-led campaign#

  1. Go to Campaigns → New campaign → Intent-led.
  2. Choose who the campaign reaches:
SettingWhat you choose
Add people whoThe buying signals that count, grouped by what the person did: Asking, Evaluating you, Moment of need, Coming back and Exploring the category. For example: asked for what you sell, messaged you first, filled in a form, commented on your post, announced funding.
Interest neededWarm or High-intent, or High-intent ICP only
Ideal-customer fit at leastAny fit, 40, 50, 70 or 85
Start outreach after5 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours or 1 day
Monthly credit budgetHow much research the campaign may spend. Each researched person costs 10 credits, so 300 credits covers about 30 people.
Before each person is addedReview first (matches wait in Intent → Automations → Review and you approve each one) or Autopilot (owners and admins only)
  1. Choose the messages: a ready-made Intent sequence, or Write with AI from a short brief. The ready-made sequence uses LinkedIn and email when you have an email account connected, and LinkedIn only otherwise.
  2. Review the steps and connect your sending accounts. Prosyo launches the campaign for you once your sending accounts are ready.

Every step already uses the research lines with fallbacks, for example {{research.invite_note|Hi {{first_name}}, glad to connect.}}, so each message is personal and never shows an empty gap. See Variables and personalization.

What happens when someone matches#

  • Each new person is researched before the first message. The campaign waits up to a day for research to finish, then uses your fallbacks.
  • People who asked not to be contacted, customers, people already in a campaign and people you're in an open conversation with are always skipped.
  • With Review first, nothing is sent until you approve someone. The campaign sends only inside its working hours and daily limits.
  • Mention their public post is on (Sending & safety), so messages can quote what the person asked for in public with {{signal.quote}}, {{signal.need}} and {{signal.url}}, for example "Saw your post about needing a Shopify developer". Website visits are never mentioned this way.

On Review first, open Intent → Automations → Review (or the daily email), approve the people you want, read the message and send it to the campaign.

On Autopilot, matches are researched and added without waiting for you, within the daily limit and budget. Form fills and sign-ups typed on your website still wait in Intent → Automations → Review for you to check them first, because anyone can type any email into a form.

Write or improve the messages with AI#

Write with AI and Improve with AI on a step cost 1 credit. In a campaign fed by Intent, or one that already uses research lines, the writer uses the research lines with sensible fallbacks. Always read the result before you launch.

To send a step only to people who did something specific, add an If / else step with an Intent condition. For example, send the pricing follow-up only to people who clicked a link you sent, and end the sequence for everyone else. See Sequence steps.

Add an automatic audience to any campaign#

Any campaign can fill itself from Intent later:

  1. Open the campaign's Audience tab.
  2. Under Automatic audience from Intent, choose Turn on and pick the same settings as above.

The card shows what it matched, added, how many people are waiting for review and the credits used in the last 30 days. Use Edit audience, Pause or Resume at any time.

In Intent → Automations → Playbooks, these audiences show with a Campaign audience label. They share the same Review queue, limits and budget as playbooks.
