When people are added to any list, check Close for an open opportunity at their company. Tag them No with the deal owner and stage if there is one, and score the rest.

When outbound and sales work from different tools, the same buyer can get a cold sequence from one rep while another is halfway through a proposal. It looks careless to the buyer and it creates friction inside the team. This use case adds a CRM check to every list: the Qualifier looks up each person in Close or Attio, and anyone at a company with an open opportunity is held back with the owner and stage on the tag.
Why it matters
Most collisions are not caused by bad intent. They happen because a list was imported on Monday and the deal was created on Tuesday. A check that runs on its own whenever people join a list removes the timing problem. And because the reason is written on the tag, the rep who sees it knows who to talk to instead of guessing.
What the agent does
It starts when people are added to a list. It searches your CRM for the person and their company, looks for open opportunities, and reads the owner and stage. People with an open deal are tagged No with a reason such as “Open deal, Proposal stage, owned by Sam”. Everyone else is scored against your ideal customer and tagged Fit, Maybe or No. The agent reads your CRM; any change it might suggest there waits for your approval.
Set it up
- Connect Close or Attio.
- Start from the Qualifier template and tick your CRM as an app it may use.
- Add the rule to its instructions: hold back anyone at a company with an open opportunity, and name the owner and stage.
- Let tagging run as routine work so lists are sorted before anyone opens them.
Variations
- Hold back recent closed-won customers for 90 days so onboarding is not interrupted.
- Send the list of held-back people to the deal owners as a weekly summary.
- Pair it with the Stripe check so both active deals and paying customers stay out of cold sequences.

Qualifier Agent asks before it acts
You choose how much it does alone. Reading and research always run straight away; anything that sends, spends or changes another app waits as a card you approve, unless you allowed it.
- Ask before every stepIt asks before every step, unless you allowed that action to run on its own.
- Ask before any changeIt reads and researches freely, then brings every change back to you.
- Handle routine work aloneSaving people, tagging and preparing drafts run on their own. Sending, paid actions and other apps still wait.
Use cases that pair well with this one
New people on a listNever pitch an existing customer: check Stripe before outreachEvery time people are added to a list, the Qualifier checks Stripe and keeps anyone who already pays you out of your cold sequences, with the reason on the tag.Qualifier Agent

New people on a listHold back outreach to people with an open support conversationWhen people are added to a list, the Qualifier checks Intercom and holds back anyone with an open support conversation, so a cold pitch never lands in the middle of a support issue.Qualifier Agent Which CRMs does this work with?
Close and Attio are connectors the agent can read. HubSpot and Pipedrive sync with Prosyo directly, so prospects and stages already flow between the two.
Will the agent change my CRM?
Reading runs straight away. Creating or updating records waits for your approval unless you allowed that action.
Can I tell the deal owner instead of skipping?
Yes. Ask the agent to include the owner in its report, or create a task in your work app for them.
When does it run?
As soon as people are added to the list you choose, whether they come from an import, a form, the Chrome extension or another agent. Nobody has to remember to run it.
Which apps does it use, and do I need accounts?
It uses Close, with one-click sign-in; Attio, with one-click sign-in. Each app works with your own access, so the agent only sees what your account can see, and anything an app charges for is billed by that app.
Can the agent act without my approval?
Reading and research run straight away. Routine work such as saving people to a list or tagging can run alone if you allow it. Sending, paid actions and changes in other apps wait for your yes unless you explicitly allowed that action.
What does a run cost?
Each step uses AI credits like a Penny question, and you set a spending cap for each run. If a run reaches its cap, it waits for you. Paid actions such as enrichment, and charges from connected apps, are separate.
Can I change what the agent does?
Yes, in plain words. Edit the brief, attach a skill such as your own playbook, tick or untick apps and change what needs approval. The next run follows the new instructions, and finished work stays saved.
Which agent runs it, and what pairs well with it?
The Qualifier Agent, Prosyo’s ai lead qualification agent. Start from its template and use this request as the brief. It pairs well with the Writer Agent and the Research Agent, which can pick up its results through your lists and inbox.
How do I see what the agent did?
Every run comes with a plain-English report of what it did, what it cost and anything waiting for you. Results show as formatted answers, tables or diagrams, and you get a notification when a run finishes or needs your approval.
Which Prosyo plan do I need?
Agents come with the Penny Agents, Penny SDR and Penny SDR All-in plans: 5, 10 or 20 agents. Every workspace starts with a 7-day free trial, no card required.
