One request. The agent does the rest.

Type it to Penny, or use it as the agent’s brief and let it run on its trigger.

Agent PennyRun with Research Agent

@Apollo find heads of sales at logistics companies in Germany with 50 to 500 people, check them against my ideal customer and save the fits to a list called “Germany logistics”.

  1. Reads your brief and your saved ideal customer
  2. Searches Apollo for people and companies that match
  3. Checks every match against your ideal customer
  4. Shows you the matches before anything is saved
  5. Saves the fits to your list, adding people you already have instead of duplicating them

The guide

Apollo is where many teams keep their lead data, but a search result is not a prospect list. Somebody still has to read the titles, drop the companies that are too small, spot the people you already talk to, export, clean and import. The Research Agent does that part. You describe who you want in plain words, it searches Apollo with your account, checks every match against the ideal customer you saved in Prosyo, and puts only the fits on a list.

Why this beats an export

An export copies everything Apollo returned, good fits and bad, into a spreadsheet that starts going stale the moment it is saved. When the agent builds the list inside Prosyo, three things change. Every person is checked against the same definition of a good customer, so the list is consistent no matter who asked for it. Every person carries the place they were found, so you can trace a strange row back to its source. And anyone already in your workspace is added to the list rather than created twice, so your reporting and your stop-on-reply rules keep working.

What the agent does

It starts from your brief, for example “heads of sales at logistics companies in Germany with 50 to 500 people”, and from your saved ideal customer. It searches Apollo for matching people and companies, compares each match with your rules, and shows you the matches before saving. When you are happy, it saves the fits to the list you named. Reading Apollo runs straight away. Paid extras, such as enriching contacts, appear as a separate card with the credit cost, and nothing is spent until you approve it.

Set it up

  1. Connect Apollo with one-click sign-in.
  2. Describe your ideal customer once in Prosyo: titles, industries, size, regions and who to leave out.
  3. Start from the Research Agent template and tick Apollo as an app it may use.
  4. Run it with a brief, or put it on a weekly schedule so a fresh list is waiting every Monday.

Tips for a better list

  • Name the list in the brief. The agent saves to it directly, and the name tells your team what the list is for.
  • Be specific about exclusions. “No agencies, no companies under 20 people” saves more time than another title keyword.
  • Pair it with the Qualifier when you want a Fit, Maybe or No verdict and a reason on every person.
  • Run small first. Twenty good people you will actually contact beat two hundred you will not.

Where it goes next

A list built this way is ready for the rest of the relay. Hand the fits to the Writer for a personal first line each, then enroll them in a LinkedIn and email campaign that stops the moment someone replies. If you use Penny SDR, the list becomes part of the pool she picks daily batches from.

You stay in control

Research Agent asks before it acts

You choose how much it does alone. Reading and research always run straight away; anything that sends, spends or changes another app waits as a card you approve, unless you allowed it.

  • Review each stepIt asks before every step, unless you allowed that action to run on its own.
  • Review changesIt reads and researches freely, then brings every change back to you.
  • Run routine workSaving people, tagging and preparing drafts run on their own. Sending, paid actions and other apps still wait.

Do I need an Apollo account?

Yes. You connect your own Apollo account, so the agent sees what your account can see, and any Apollo credits are billed by Apollo.

What does Prosyo save for each person?

Name, email, phone and LinkedIn when Apollo returns them, plus where the person came from. People already in your workspace are added to the list instead of being created again.

Can I enrich the people it finds?

Yes. Enrichment is a separate paid step, so it waits for your approval with the credit cost shown first.

When does it run?

Whenever you click Run now, or ask Penny in chat. If it becomes a weekly habit, put it on a schedule instead and it runs on its own.

Which apps does it use, and do I need accounts?

It uses Apollo.io, with one-click sign-in. Each app works with your own access, so the agent only sees what your account can see, and anything an app charges for is billed by that app.

Can the agent act without my approval?

Reading and research run straight away. Routine work such as saving people to a list or tagging can run alone if you allow it. Sending, paid actions and changes in other apps wait for your yes unless you explicitly allowed that action.

What does a run cost?

Each step uses AI credits like a Penny question, and you set the most steps and credits one run may use. A run pauses at either limit until you continue it. Paid actions such as enrichment, and charges from connected apps, are separate.

Can I change what the agent does?

Yes, in plain words. Edit the brief, attach a skill such as your own playbook, tick or untick apps and change what needs approval. The next run follows the new instructions, and finished work stays saved.

Which agent runs it, and what pairs well with it?

The Research Agent, Prosyo’s ai prospecting agent. Start from its template and use this request as the brief. It pairs well with the Qualifier Agent and the Writer Agent, which can pick up its results through your lists and inbox.

How do I see what the agent did?

Every run has a page that says what it did in plain words, with the credits each step used and anything waiting for you. Results show as formatted answers, tables or diagrams, and you get a notification when a run finishes or needs your approval.

Which Prosyo plan do I need?

Agents come with the Penny Agents, Penny SDR and Penny SDR All-in plans: 5, 10 or 20 agents. Every workspace starts with a 7-day free trial, no card required.
