# Send Personalized Videos to Prospects and in Campaigns

**On this page**

- Make videos for selected people
- Where videos are made
- Review them as they're made
- Add a video to a campaign
- The video page

Once you have a template from [Studio](https://prosyo.com/es/docs/video/record-in-studio/), you can make a video for each person and send it by hand, or add it to a campaign step so every person gets theirs automatically.

## Make videos for selected people#

1. Go to **Prospects**, select people, and choose **Create personalized video**.
2. Pick the **template**, the **background** (as in the template, their website, a document or face only) and the **quality**.
3. Check the cost: each video uses **10 credits in 720p** or **15 in 1080p**. People who already have this video aren't charged again. If you don't have enough credits, Prosyo says how many you need.
4. Click **Create**.

## Where videos are made#

Videos are made either on Prosyo's video server or, when your workspace doesn't have one, **in your browser**. In the browser, a small **Making Priya's video** strip appears in the corner of Prosyo while it works, one video at a time, about as long as each video. Keep a Prosyo tab open and visible until it's done (a hidden tab hands the video back to try later; nothing is lost). **Pause** stops after the current video. It works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on a computer.

Their website shows behind your video when your admin has set up website screenshots; otherwise people get your fallback background, and the editor's preview says so.

## Review them as they're made#

A progress strip shows how many videos are ready. Open it to see the **review grid**: each person's thumbnail as their video is ready, with **Watch** and **Copy link**.

- Leave anyone out before their video is made with **Don't make this one**, or tick several and leave them out together. **Nothing is charged for people you leave out.**
- If a website couldn't be used (it needs a login, a cookie wall covered it, it took too long), the video uses your fallback background and says why.
- Credits are only charged when a video is ready. A video that fails costs nothing. **Retry failed** tries again, and you're still only charged when a video is ready.

## Add a video to a campaign#

On an **Email** or **LinkedIn message** step, turn on **Add a personalized video** and pick the template and quality. Then put the video in the message:

- **Email:** `{{video_thumbnail}}` shows a clickable animated preview; `{{video_link}}` is a link.
- **LinkedIn:** `{{video_link}}`. LinkedIn shows the video's title, description and thumbnail.

Use `{{video_link|}}` so the message still reads well if a video isn't ready.

Each person's video is prepared when they join the campaign and charged when it's first sent. People who reply or leave before the step aren't charged. If a video isn't ready when the step is due, the step waits a little, then sends the message without the video or skips the step, as you choose.

**Send to half** gives half the people the message without a video, so you can compare replies in the campaign's **Reports**.

To follow up on watchers, add an **If / else** step with **They watched your video** and choose how much of it they watched.

## The video page#

Each video has its own page with the video, captions, your title and text, and your button. Only real plays count as views; someone opening the page isn't counted until they press play. After a while a video expires and its page says so.
