# Pipedrive

Send Prosyo prospects to Pipedrive as **people**, matched by email, with their company linked as an **organization**.

## What syncs

- New prospects become Pipedrive people, matched by **email**.
- The company name links the Pipedrive **organization** with that name, or creates it.
- Stage changes, enrichment and replies update the person.

Prospects **without an email are skipped**. Pipedrive matches on email, and Prosyo never invents one.

### Your Pipedrive data is safe

- Prosyo **fills empty fields** on a person who already exists. A value already in Pipedrive stays, unless you turn on **Replace values already in Pipedrive**.
- Prosyo **never clears** a Pipedrive field, and never changes the email a person was matched by.
- With **Replace** on, a new main phone number is added and the person's other numbers are kept.
- If Pipedrive is down for a while, updates are retried for hours and sent once it is back.

## 1. Connect Pipedrive

You need to be a workspace **owner or admin** in Prosyo.

1. Go to **Integrations → Pipedrive** and click **Connect Pipedrive**.
2. Click **Connect with Pipedrive**.
3. Pick your Pipedrive company and approve the app. Prosyo asks to read and write people and organizations, and to read your user so the connection can be checked.
4. You land back on **Integrations** with Pipedrive connected.

### Or use an API token

1. In Pipedrive, open your profile menu → **Personal preferences → API** and copy your personal API token.
2. In Prosyo, click **Connect Pipedrive**, paste it under **Or paste an API token**, and click **Save API token**.

Prosyo stores tokens encrypted and never shows them again.

## 2. Map fields

Under **Field mapping**, match each **Prosyo field** to a **Pipedrive field**. The default map is:

| Prosyo field | Pipedrive field |
|---|---|
| Email | Email |
| Full name | Name |
| First name | First name |
| Last name | Last name |
| Title | Job title |
| Phone | Phone |
| Company name | Organization |

You can also map **LinkedIn URL**, **Website**, **Pipeline stage**, **First-touch line** and any of your **custom fields** to your own Pipedrive person fields.

Turn on **Replace values already in Pipedrive** if you want Pipedrive to always match Prosyo. Leave it off to keep what your team typed in Pipedrive.

Click **Save mapping**.

## 3. Choose events

Under **Events**, pick when Prosyo writes to Pipedrive. The defaults are:

- **Prospect created**
- **Stage changed**
- **Prospect enriched**
- **Reply received**

## 4. Test

Click **Test connection** to check that Prosyo can reach your Pipedrive company. It does not create or change a person. **Recent deliveries** shows every sync and any error.

## Troubleshooting

| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| **Needs attention** with "Reconnect Pipedrive" | Access expired or the app was removed in Pipedrive. Click **Reconnect Pipedrive**. Your field map and events are kept. Pipedrive access also expires if nothing is sent for 60 days; reconnect the same way. |
| Person not created | The prospect has no email. |
| A Pipedrive field did not change | It already had a value. Turn on **Replace values already in Pipedrive** if Prosyo should overwrite it. |
| Field not in the list | Check that it is a **person** field in Pipedrive, then reopen the mapping. |
| Two organizations with similar names | Prosyo links an organization whose name matches exactly, otherwise it creates one. Rename or merge it in Pipedrive. |

## Disconnect

Click **Disconnect** on **Integrations → Pipedrive**. People already in Pipedrive stay there, but Prosyo forgets the field map and events. To fix a broken connection, use **Reconnect Pipedrive** instead. To fully revoke access, also uninstall Prosyo in Pipedrive's **Tools and apps → Marketplace apps**.
