# Launch, pause and resume

## Launch

1. Open the campaign and click **Review & launch** (top right of a draft campaign).
2. The **Pre-launch review** opens and checks:

| Check | What it looks for |
|---|---|
| **Accounts** | At least one selected LinkedIn account (and email account, if you have email steps) is **Healthy**. If you send from several and one needs attention, you'll see a warning instead: people already given that account wait for it, and new people go to the others. |
| **Content** | Invite notes are 300 characters or fewer, messages aren't empty, emails have a subject, voice note steps have a recording, and any Intent variable has its option switched on |
| **Audience** | At least one prospect is enrolled |
| **Plan** | Your trial or plan allows sending |

3. The review also shows **Audience**, **Still to contact**, **Actions to send** and **Per day**, every sending account, your working hours and limits, an estimate of the sending days needed and the projected completion date. Under **Exclusions and data gaps** it counts people with no email address, no LinkedIn URL, set to *Do not contact*, or who already replied positively. A preview with a real prospect is included.
4. If anything is listed under **Fix before launching**, fix it and open the review again. Items under **Worth knowing** don't block the launch, but read them.
5. Click **Launch campaign**.

The status changes to **Running**. Prosyo schedules the work inside your working hours and spaces it out on each sending account by the gap you set, so the audience isn't contacted all at once. You can close the tab.

## Pause

Click **Pause** in the campaign header. Nothing more is sent until you resume. Pausing takes effect straight away.

Pause when you want to:

- edit the sequence,
- stop for a holiday.

### Paused by Prosyo

Prosyo pauses a campaign itself when none of its sending accounts on a channel can send any more, for example because the account was disconnected or needs reconnecting. A banner on the campaign names the account and the fix, and owners, admins and the person who connected that account get a notification and an email. Every prospect stays enrolled and nothing is lost.

- **The account needs reconnecting?** Click **Open Accounts** and reconnect it. The campaign resumes on its own.
- **Want to use another account?** Click **Choose sending account**, pick one under **Sending & safety**, then click **Review & resume**.

When the campaign sends from several accounts and only one stops working, it keeps running on the others. See [Sending accounts](https://prosyo.com/docs/campaigns/sending-limits-safety.md#1-sending-accounts).

### When your plan ends

If your plan ends without being renewed, every running campaign pauses, even in the middle of a sequence, and your LinkedIn and Gmail/Outlook accounts are disconnected. Owners and admins get an **Outreach is paused** notice. Your people, campaigns and conversations are kept.

To start again:

1. Renew in **Settings → Billing**.
2. Reconnect your accounts in **Settings → Accounts**.
3. Open each campaign and click **Review & resume**.

Campaigns don't resume by themselves after a plan ends. See [Manage billing](https://prosyo.com/docs/billing/manage-billing.md#when-payment-fails-or-a-plan-ends).

## Edit a running campaign

1. **Pause** the campaign.
2. Edit the **Sequence** and click **Save sequence**.
3. Click **Review & resume**, then **Resume sending**.

You can change these without pausing:

- **limits**, the **delay between actions** and the **Intent and research** options,
- **working hours** and the **timezone**. People waiting to be contacted move into the new hours straight away.
- the **sending accounts**. Changes apply to people who haven't been contacted yet.
- the **audience**. New people start from step 1.

## Edit with Agent Penny

If your workspace has **AI Agents**, you can ask Agent Penny in chat to change a campaign, for example *"Make the second LinkedIn message shorter"* or *"Only send Monday to Thursday, 9 to 5"*. Penny can:

- write or rewrite the copy of a step: connection note, LinkedIn message, InMail, email subject and body, or post comment,
- change the waits between steps,
- change sending settings: name, timezone, sending days and hours, daily limits, stopping on reply, withdrawing unaccepted invites, the gap between sends and the sending accounts,
- replace the whole sequence of a draft that has never been launched.

Each change shows as a card in the chat, and nothing changes until you approve it. A running campaign has to be paused before its steps change, but its settings can change while it runs. Afterwards Penny can preview the merged messages for you. Launching is a separate card you approve. See [Agent Penny](https://prosyo.com/docs/ai/agent-penny.md).

## Resume

Click **Review & resume**. The same review runs, and the button reads **Resume sending**. Steps that became due while paused are spread across your working hours. They don't all send at once.

Resuming counts toward your plan's active campaigns again, so you may need to pause or archive another campaign first.

## Archive

Archive a finished campaign to keep your list tidy. Archiving stops any steps still waiting. Reports stay available, conversations stay in your Inbox, and archived campaigns don't count toward your active campaign limit.

## Why launch is blocked

| Message | Fix |
|---|---|
| Select the LinkedIn (or email) account this campaign sends from | **Sending & safety → LinkedIn accounts** or **Email accounts** |
| The account needs reconnecting, or none of the selected accounts is connected | **Settings → Accounts → Reconnect**, or pick another account |
| Connection note too long | Keep the note to 300 characters or fewer |
| Empty message or email subject | Fill in the step |
| Voice note needs a recording | Upload one on the step |
| A step uses `{{signal.…}}` or `{{intent.topic}}` | Turn on **Mention their public post** or **Allow mentioning what they looked at** under **Sending & safety → Intent and research**, or remove the variable |
| No prospects are enrolled yet | **Audience → Add prospects** |
| Email steps require the Multichannel plan and a connected email account | Remove the email steps, or add email on **Settings → Billing** and connect a mailbox |
| Your plan allows N active campaigns. Pause one or upgrade to run more. | Pause or archive another campaign, or [upgrade](https://prosyo.com/docs/billing/plans-and-pricing.md) |
| Your trial has ended — upgrade to launch campaigns. | **Settings → Billing** |

## Launch from Claude or ChatGPT

You can also say "launch my UK founders campaign" in [Claude](https://prosyo.com/docs/ai/connect-claude.md) or [ChatGPT](https://prosyo.com/docs/ai/connect-chatgpt.md). The assistant shows you the summary and waits for you to confirm before anything sends.
